"That's the thing about unhappiness. All it takes is for something worse to come along and you realize it was actually happiness after all."
-Queen Elizabeth II
I love this quote because it puts life and our experiences into perspective. You can spend you time focusing on the negative in every moment, or the positive. When you focus on the negative, you'll have feelings of unhappiness and every day will seem bad, and life is unfair.
I'm sure all of us can relate to this quote because we were in a situation where we asked "why me" and l'm not happy, and moments later something worse happens and we wish we were back at that moment we were just complaining about. It is all about perspective and we are always in control of how we feel. It may be hard to control our thinking, but we can learn to do it, and create a more positive mindset.
Always try to look for the good in every situation. When you do this, you train your mind to think positively, and your life as a whole will have a more positive outlook and things will just naturally look better and in your favor. Science also has proven time and time again that positive brains stop diverting to think about anxiety or depressing thoughts. Our creativity also increases. There are so many good things that happen when you think positively!
