Hopefully by now you're getting the idea that the more you are grateful for the things in your life, the more good things will come back to you in return. We're slowing training your mind to think in gratitude for every area of your life.
Today your challenge is to be thankful for all the people you meet and to thank them if they do anything for you. Ancient spiritual teachings say that what we give to someone else with a full heart returns to us a hundredfold. SO being grateful and actually saying thank you to another person for anything you receive from them is vital to improving your life.
Because we know that gratitude is a powerful energy, whomever you direct gratitude towards that's where it goes. The positive energy from gratitude affects whoever you direct it to.
So everyone you come in contact with, you should say thank you to if they have helped you in any way. You server at the restaurant, your driver, the person who holds a door open for you, the person who checks you out at the grocery store, anyone who does a service for you to help you out, say thank you.
You should even say thank you to people who may not be very kind. You never know why they might not be in a good mood. Regardless, you need to lead by example and be grateful anyway. Being polite and grateful towards others puts out a positive energy, and people will be more inclined to help you. And when people are more inclined to help you, you're more likely to get things you desire or want.
So remember through your days to be thankful for others, and SHOW them that you're grateful by telling them thank you for whatever they have helped you with.
Don't forget to write your list of 10 things you are grateful for today, and why. Also, before you go to bed tonight, pick up your gratitude object and think about the good things that happened during your day today. Think of the best thing and say THANK YOU!
