By beautiful here I mean beauty in a sense of positive and inspirational. From my studies in personal development I have noticed a trend from all the great, successful influencers. From Mark Twain to Jim Rohn, Dale Carnegie to Oprah, every one of them has known the power of the people and things that you surround yourself with, and what they can do to influence your life.
If you are not conscious of what you surround yourself with you can put yourself down a very dark, depressing path. Life is hard, it hits every one and knocks us down from time to time. And if we're not consciously putting positive influences in our lives, we will most certainly stay down. It takes work in order to be able to control a positive mindset in the face of all the negative things that are thrown at us on a daily basis.
The good news is that if you can change your life influencers, you can increase your chances for happiness and success!
I like to believe that everything has an energy. In fact, we know this from science. Now, I'm not going to get deep into the science because that's not at all my expertise. I just want to repeat some things I've learned and read... At the turn of the nineteenth century, physicists started to explore the relationship between energy and the structure of matter and began to recognize that everything in the Universe is made out of energy. This includes us. We are much more than physical matter, we are made up of atoms that radiate their own unique energy.
We also know that like energy attracts. So the more positive energy you have, the more positive energy will be attracted to you. Same goes for the opposite. If you put out negative energy, then negative energy and things will come to you.
This is why it is SO important to be conscious of the mindset you have, the people you surround yourself with, the material you read/consume, and the environment you surround yourself with.
We must all actively seek to give ourselves a positive environment, so that more good, positive things can happen to us.
Spend more time with the people in your life who make you happy, and not the ones who are negative and make you feel down when you're with them. Read books about being your best self. You can even give yourself a little reminder daily through the jewelry you wear, like we have here in our store. Or, put up some feel-good quotes and pictures in your home.
There are some things we cannot control, but we can definitely control the things we surround ourselves with every day in order to create a more positive space for ourselves in order to increase our happiness.
